Social (physical) distancing involves maintaining at least six feet of distance between people and is an effective way to help reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19. The following steps can help when implementing social distancing at your event:
- Encourage attendees, staff and all participating entities to stay home if they are sick
- Place 6 feet distance markers around the event layout
- Re-examine any bars, registrations, or lines that could form at your event to encourage social distancing
- Isolate any attendees, staff and all participating entities who begin to exhibit symptoms until they can either go home or leave to seek medical care
- Ensure that table placement seating is well spaced out between each attendee
